Strawberry Water

1 quart fresh strawberries, hulled and mashed a bit
3/4 cup honey (you can use sugar if you don't have honey, but it doesn't taste quite the same)
1 gallon fresh spring water

Hull and mash the strawberries, leaving some bits (do not puree). Place in a large bowl and add the honey, stirring to coat. Refridgerate for at least three to four hours or longer, until strawberries have mascerated.
Pour the strawberry mixture into a large pitcher and add water, stir. Always re-stir just before serving, as the strawberry bits settle. Ladle into glasses. (This doesn't pour, so do use a ladle.)
