CURE vs HEAL


Reiki does not promise a "cure" Reiki offers healing . Healing is not always the same as a cure.
Many times Reiki Treatment will promote a rapid healing and even complete recovery from a condition or illness .
There are a vast array of issues that effect healing and wellness . Most people feel that they have benefitted from Reiki Treatment wheather or not they are "cured".

"Improvement " tends to be very subjective. Reiki and other energy work has improved my physical health. My family feels that Reiki has improved my physical Health. My Doctors agree that my health has improved.
An outside observer may be unable to see the benefits or unaware of continuing improvement . An outside observer will probably be unaware of the original conditions and how they have changed.

I do still have obvious issues with my health and physical condition and have occasionally gotten remarks to the effect of "If Reiki works why are you ( fat, crippled, hypertensive, whatever.) I don't see that there is rely any need to justify or explain when people do not see the particular result they presume to expect.

Even the death of a client is not a failure of Reiki. Most of the people I've known with terminal conditions who have been treated with Reiki have died. They have died when they were at peace with both life and death. I have done transition work for many years before I started doing Reiki so that more of the people who come to me with terminal conditions are seeking ease of transition rather than cure than is usual.

There have also been many Reiki clients who had potentially fatal conditions who did recover or who are in remission or whose diagnosis has been changed to a lessor condition who continue to be alive and well at this time.

They have lived long enough to resolve issues, finish projects. They lived long enough to say farewell to friends and family. They have found Reiki to have been a major help in pain relief and fear relief in preparing for transition.

When accepted Reiki works for the best interests of the recipient we do not have any way of determining for ourselves or for outside observers what is in accord with the highest good for another.
